You *must* call in during business hours and cannot cancel online or via email. They will make it as difficult as possible.

The person you are talking to will try to do anything to keep your business. They'll give you a few months of free service, just to raise the prices silently once they starting charging you again after a few months.

I tried to cancel my subscription using their automated phone service and it wants my account number which I have still not been able to find on their website. Alternatively, a person can use an associated telephone number but it will not accept the number clearly listed on my account.

Yes very hard to cancel, even if find a way to call during business hours they want to go on and on about why you should stay and give you more discounts

Itโ€™s ridiculous that a prestigious paper like wsj uses this kind of scam tactics that exploit human nature. I would expect that from bankers or insurance companies, and I got my fair share from them.

However when itโ€™s wsj thatโ€™s doing it, now itโ€™s disappointing. I was undicided about cancellation but now I definitely made my mind.
