The Wall Street Journal - Delivery is Crazy Bad

2.6
Details
Alright it’s getting a little bit old. In the 2 months that I have been a subscriber I have yet to ever get a Saturday paper. On top of this, there is ALWAYS one or two other days throughout the week where there’s a “production issue.” You are telling me that one of America’s largest newspapers can’t seem to print the paper? Sure. So yes it’s getting quite old and I will definitely not be renewing the subscription unless they can manage to pull something together. Maybe the Star Tribune can get the product to me. It’s a real shame because I enjoy reading the Wall Street journal; the journalism is great and it’s a good product. I just wish I could actually receive the product I pay for.

2.1
Details
After 15 years of delivery this past year has been frought with missed days weekly. Now I haven’t received a paper for almost 3 weeks and must go through a daily drill hearing how important I am and that my issue has been elevated to Priority One. Result - still no paper with no resolution in sight.

I work as a receptionist at a long and short term care facility. Early this morning there was a WSJ paper left on our doorstep. I called the WSJ Customer Service and spoke 2 representatives, one of which was a supervisor, neither of which could offer a solution to...

The Wall Street Journal - Old seniors need help with digital wecan’t see

I called to say that I wanted to cancel the digital version because I don’t have internet at home and I never once used the digital form. I get the print edition and with a magnifying glass I can read it. My husband is 88 and blind in one eye due to macular degeneration. He has very low vision in his other eye. I foolishly got the wsj for $1.00 thinking I could read it to him. I didn’t realize that there is a recurring automatic charge to my credit card if $40. I tried today to cancel and get a refund. Please help me as we are seniors and didn’t use it once.

On Friday 9/20/19 I cancelled my Wall Street Journal subscription. On 9/24/19 a charge for W.SJ appeared on my online Visa account. On 9/25/19 called WSJ customer service to reverse charge. I was refused by 3 successive WSJ agents. I asked to speak to a supervisor but...

Always cancel anything and everything in writing served via Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested. Do so 30 days before the next billing date.

Do not call, e-mail. etc.

Then notify your credit card or bank or whomever that charges after that date are to be dishonored. Even when you've reached the end of, say, a 1-year subscription, use my method regardless (there may well be a hidden "auto renewal" clause in your original agreement).

This is a great newspaper with unbiased reporting and wonderful editorial columns. I'd love to read it more often if we could get consistent delivery. I have called the customer service center and they told me that they take the complaints, put the name and phone...

Come over here and take mine. We never signed up for the paper delivery and I can't get them to stop. It's been going on for over two weeks.

The Wall Street Journal Trash in my yard

I don't have a subscription to the Wall Street Journal. But every few weeks, the printed Journal starts showing up in my yard every morning. I have called their so called "customer service" many times, but to no avail, this keeps occurring. Recently I called them for the 4th time in one week, and the next day, two copies were thrown into my yard. No one else on my street takes this journal. I am ready to start legal actions.

As a customer service rep for the journal i will tell you yes the paper has a hard time keeping carriers no one wants to do hat job anymore when there are much better jobs out there i mean I personally don’t want to get up at 3 or 4 in the morning to take someone a newspaper that they could easily go buy at the store and eventually delivery service won’t be an option it will all be mail delivery which is slowly happening in some states
